Research Dementia stages, come up with appropriate “busy activities” for each stage, and for a range of professions.
Suggest purchases, and/or fund-raise within the community to fill the “Dementia Care Toolbox”.
Best use plan for space and storage within the facility – keeping in mind efficiency of staff time and travel.
Evaluate the current layout and use of space within the facility.
Assess and propose best use layout to minimize staff travel for most common tasks, while meeting regulations and compliance requirements.
