Link Associates provides Day Habilitation services to adults with Intellectual disabilities. We utilize self-created curriculum to teach the persons we serve various topics such as; health, safety, current events, etc.
We feel an outside review of these teaching methods used would help the teaching of such topics to persons with varying skill levels. Also, integrating the curriculum into mediums such as videos, interactive computer programs, etc. would help with engagement and learning.
We would also like to create a video with portions of the persons served handbook as a fun way for persons to practice portions of this handbook to help gain a better understanding of the information within it.
